Love is the foundation of all creation

Have you ever felt like an uprooted tree? Travelling to a country where the language, customs and beliefs are foreign to you?

What emotions have run through you?
What thoughts have visited you?
How did you act or react?

I’ve observed this ease with which small children adapt to new situations while remaining true to themselves…

If we observe them closely, we can find some essential keys:

Being in the present moment

I am, simply, here and now.
I’m in exactly the right place, at exactly the right time, with exactly the right people, for exactly the right reason.
I’m safe.
I can relax.
In this state of relaxation, I can observe, listen and appreciate the situation, whatever it may be.
What can I learn?
What can I share?
How do I choose to interact?
Without answering these questions prematurely, I’m in a state of openness that encourages discovery, learning, exchange and enrichment.

The ability to observe

I pay attention to the facts and their context.
I see the details and the big picture.
I am free of preconceptions and judgements.
I perceive the underlying order.
I awaken my senses and refine my impressions.

Being authentic

A child faithfully expresses what is going on inside him: his yes is a yes, his no is a no. They play, they ask, they scream, they cry, they laugh, they fall asleep in a chair if they feel sleepy, they freely put themselves in a stranger’s arms if they recognise a welcoming presence.
The whole world is his playground.
I dare to exist, I welcome myself and I love myself as I am.
I honour this precious human life, which articulates in a unique way my eternal dimension and this ephemeral biological organisation.
I fully appreciate the game of life that offers us so many opportunities.

The spirit of the game

I rediscover the rules of the game.
I play with confidence and full awareness.
I’m open to what I don’t yet know.
I enjoy discovering, exploring and experimenting, with respect for myself, others and my environment.

The power of curiosity and questioning

I’m naturally curious and open-minded.
I question the world.
I search… I find… I marvel.

The desire to learn, the strength to rise above it all

A child learns, naturally, from everything, every moment.
They observe, imitate and experiment.
They are delighted to fail and to succeed, concepts that do not yet exist as they interact with themselves and their environment.
The life force rises within him and straightens him up, he grabs hold of his will, stands up, walks, falls, gets up again, falls again, gets up again…
Through practice, they develop greater skill, agility, finesse, balance and mastery…
It’s our history, it’s our potential, it’s our path to growth…
Preseverance!
I am free from the gaze of others.
I continue to grow.
And to rejoice.
I nurture those living qualities of childhood, refined by my life experience.
I live and act with more tact, intelligence and compassion.

I RECOGNISE THE PURE, JOYFUL, OPEN HEART OF A CHILD.
I REALISE THAT LOVE IS THE FOUNDATION OF EVERYTHING.
I EXPRESS MY TALENTS WITH CONFIDENCE.
STEP BY STEP, I FULFIL MYSELF BY REMEMBERING WHERE I COME FROM.
